The United Methodist Women’s World Thank Offering Program and Special Recognition Recipient’s Salad Luncheon will be held on Sunday, Oct. 2nd, immediately following the 10:30am church service in the Educational Building’s multipurpose room.
Each year nominations are made and prayerfully voted upon by the entire Baldwin Memorial UMW body “to recognize individuals who have been a continual support of the UMW and our church by: exemplifying the UMW’s mission purpose and understanding of our work with women and children in our surrounding area and throughout the world.”
Those attending are asked to bring a protein salad or another salad of choice to share for 6 people. On an index card please include the salad’s name and listing ingredients such as nuts, type of grains and dairy product for those with allergies.
A brief program will be presented to enlighten all as to the important work that the United Methodist Women are able to complete through the “Special World Thank Offering” taken during this event in our calendar year. Your gifts are used in the total program of mission carried on through United Methodist Women’s national office in the United States and around the world. Please give generously to support women, children, and youth through the World Thank Offering.
